Hi, Gee! I just LOVE to tour people's homes, and this was a great way to do it long distance!!! You have made the entryway so charming and beckoning...who wouldn't want to go inside and take a peek at all the fall finery you have put out and about? :-) You have a very pretty house, and you have really done a lot of decorating for the season! I'm jealous! I don't get a chance to do much since I teach tablecscaping here in our home. Right now I have Christmas tables set up all over the place. It just takes all the fun out of the seasons when you have to be 2 or 3 months ahead. :-( I would love to be able to put little vignettes out all over like you have done, and then I would like for them to STAY there for a couple of months for us to enjoy them!!! Oh, well...such is life! I love your tarnished silver pieces! There's just something really fun about silver with that vintage patina. LOVE the old window panes, too!!! Enjoy your nice 80 degree weather. We are expecting our first frost tonight. Had to get out this evening and cover the flowers so they might hang around for another week or so. We'll see if they survive or not! Have a wonderful, relaxing Sunday, and thank you for the tour of your lovely home!
ReplyDeleteHello and Happy Sunday to you and yours as well Alycia. Just up from a relaxing nap.
DeleteFall in North Central Florida is fantastic. The weather may not reflect the temperatures of Fall as it does in other parts of the country, but the light... oh the light is just something to behold. I paint, so I notice the light a lot. There is nothing like the clear light of Autumn. Pure and clear...
My home has had to adapt to include Master Vic now and thus the berries and [pumpkins have had to be placed higher as the little man luves to steal them. But yes, they are sprinkled throughout. Glad you popped by and visited.
Cheers, Gee
Thanks for sharing your cozy cottage Gee!

Gee,
ReplyDeleteYour home is so lovely. I love the sunroom, and your kitchen looks so nice! Great fall decor too!
My favourite room is also the sunroom. Where I spend most of my time , especially in the cooler months. Did you happen to notice the tiles in the kitchen? I made those when the house was being constructed. e did a lot of the detail work ourselves. Might have to do a blog entry about them sometime.. they are made from drywall mud . I had so much fun doing it. Thanks for coming over :-)
DeleteHave a wonderful evening.
Cheers, Gee
